Information Systems: Jason's Web Site Tips:
Help! I can't buy lunch because I spent $85 to fill up my gas tank!

On May 9th, my web site tip offered three tips; one tip referenced a "cool" web site (well...at least I thought it was cool).  Several people responded with other web sites they visit often and find handy.  One web site that stood out to me was from Gary Hillstead.  The web site he emailed me allows you to enter your zip code to find the cheapest gas nearest you.

I am not sure if it warrants me to drive all over Morris County to save money on gas, but it doesn't hurt to know of less expensive gas stations in the area.  What I really need is a time machine!

Visit the web site below to save money on gas.

Additionally, if you ever had doubts about how nerdy I am, you need no further proof.  On May 18th, I attended "Grease Stock" (http://www.greasestock.org)  I found it very interesting to see cars powered by WVO (waste vegetable oil) and the demonstrations were eye-opening.  The drawback?....your exhaust smells like fast food, you store containers of oil in your garage, and bears follow you home from work, but it might be worth considering if you drive a car with a diesel engine!

Enjoy!
